HAHAHHAHAHHAHA

I am happy you ended it on that.

Well, all the commentary is about what we did worth talking about that I didn't get pictures of. Namely the food, because it is amazing.

I didn't put commentary on what was going on the in the pictures because that would've been a lot of work, plus that slideshow technology doesn't lend itself to attaching a caption to it.

However, my friend has this amazing idea, that I record audio over the images to describe what the picture are of and why they're significant and what's going on in them. He said that the pictures don't have the same impact or meaning when I don't describe them. Which I think I might do. But that's going to take a little more time than I think I have the time for right now.

But, Krista, yes, I appreciate greatly your help in getting me to this place and I hope you and I can talk about this more, off blog, to truly give you a better thank you. :)

I have seen all of your photos and for a long time I have not been sure how to respond.

My gut response was to say, "I TOLD YOU YOU'D HAVE A GOOD TIME! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU EVER DOUBTED IT! WHAT WAS YOUR PROBLEM?" But I didn't want to look arrogant.

My next instinct was to simply say, "I am very happy for you!" But that seemed too simple.

Part of me was even a little jealous, and I wanted to say something like "UGH! LUCKY DUCK!" But that envy is totally unfounded considering I've been to Hawaii twice :(.

After reflecting, I wanted to say, "I hope this great experience inspires you to travel more, and to just live life fully in general." But that sounds preachy, condescending, and perhaps even hypocritical; and it is certainly cliche.

In fact, all of these responses were cliche...

So I am going to end with this: "I am both disappointed, and slightly intrigued, that the majority of your commentary accompanying these photos described where and what you ate."
