My top 20 greatest moments of my life

- These two nights: Jun 30th, 2007, Oct 20th, 2007,
- Graduating College
- Parking at the Redline Alewife station and making out with a girl while the windows steamed up lying there with our clothes off staring at the moon…as the night continued we drove around with her head in my lap, asleep, listening to The Red House Painters.
- The ironic events from Catharsis Island
- Jonah Matranga’s intimate doorway performance in Providence after a HUGE show at Lupo’s heartbreak hotel.
- The day I started using Certain Dri
- My best friend introducing me to CrimethInc and veganism.
- The day I decided that I wanted to revolutionize digital comics online. Which led to a career in web design which led to a good probability of job security for a long time.
- Having my best friend help me with the same secret from list item #3.
- This day with this girl.
- Rekindling my friendship with my best friend after a four year hiatus.
- Any moment with my high school design teacher. Specifically the one’s where she sat me down and helped me figure out my future in design; my parents thanking her for steering me in the right direction; and also on graduation day her giving me a pendent with a symbol that means “Initiation,” which in my later years would come to find out that word resonates in every waking moment of my life.
- The day I was born. (Seemed weird to put it as a top 3 and I didn’t want to put it in the double digits and not consider myself important). Just because I don’t remember taking my first breath, doesn’t mean it can’t be a great moment…
- Moving out of my parents house for the first time.
- Kissing “the most popular girl in school,” during a junior year play in front of my graduating class
- After taking my final exam for my last college course, my professor, after an entire year of telling me that he thought my philosophies were spot on and my writing superb, put his hand on my shoulder and said “take it to the streets…”
- Having a Paris Hilton lookalike ask ME out
- Sharing a secret and having an amazing experience with this girl
- My New York trip in 2008 with two friends of mine
- Getting the job at Boston College
- My trip to Maui with a friend of mine. (I am leaving June 3rd, I do not want to Jinx it by saying it was a great moment when I don’t know for sure yet; however, I do know that it will be fun but whether it will be top 20 material, we will see.)
- Meeting the creators of the Ninja Turtles
- Getting the balls to talk to the attractive brunette from Café Espresso
- Meeting Blake Hazard from the Submarines
- Mirage Studios deciding they were going to finish the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures series (one of my favorite books of all time), after it was canceled unexpectedly, for the Turtles 25th anniversary.
- My “send-off” from two friends of mine on my last day at Café Espresso
- The support system weeks
Isn’t funny how most of the things I feel have been the greatest have happened in the past 10 years?

I’m surprised none of the Frye Island vacations are on the top 20. Huh… I thought it was your favorite place in the entire world, I mean, come on, being trapped on an island for a week or two with nothing but deer and all our family members sitting around rippin’ beers? I know its got to be at least in your top 30.

Yeah, that list is meticulously ranked. I spent a lot of time really thinking about which moments were better than others and why. It’s going to take me getting married, finding a “soul mate,” or being offered an even more amazing job in order to trump NYC 2008.

I think you should consider adding the time we got that eclipso comic with the purple diamond.. that should be in the top ten.

Now you ask me to consider putting the time when we found the wishing rock on the list and that’s when you’ll have a good idea…

Despite the caveat, I am wicked upset there is nothing about me up there! How about the time we cruised the strip in a stolen clown car while blasting hits by Eddie Money while topless girls danced with each other in the back!?!?!?!?!
